DC Aggies Summer Float Trip

On Saturday, August 19, the DC Aggies are ready to gear up again for our annual float trip down the Shenandoah River! We’re heading to Front Royal Outdoors, and we’ve arranged for bus transportation to get you there and back, safe and sound.

DAY-OF TRAVEL:
Those who opt to take the bus will meet at 8:30 AM at 880 Army Navy Dr. Arlington, VA 22202.

We will take the bus to Front Royal Outdoors.
Our goal is to return to the parking lot where we met in the morning by around 5 PM.
If you are driving yourself, meet us at Front Royal Outdoors (8567 Stonewall Jackson Hwy, Front Royal, VA 22630) on Saturday morning.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Coolers will NOT be provided by Front Royal Outdoors. You will need to bring your own cooler to hold your food and drinks. A medium size cooler is recommended.

Coolers are allowed on the river, but not styrofoam or glass containers, and no flip-flops (shoes must have at least a strap).

Alcohol is allowed on the trip. However, consumption must be done while floating the river. DO NOT drink at Front Royal Outdoors or at the launch site. There are Deputies watching.
